Playacar is a private gated community south of PDC's center. Two phases: Phase 1 with boutique hotels and beachfront residences, Phase 2 with villas and condos surrounded by jungle and golf. The beach in front of Playacar is the widest and quietest in all of PDC — very little sargassum compared to the center. For families and groups who want real privacy, a private pool and no dependence on beach clubs.

You need a car or be willing to use DiDi frequently.
